Solstice Greetings.

As I close our studio doors I am grateful for the wild adventures of this Fall.  Our Photobook Book Group (PBBG) was a delight to host with a stellar line-up of visual creatives, critics and bookmakers. All 36 sessions are available on my website, here. This archive is a Master Class in concept development!

My first in-person opening (of my most recently curated exhibit) opened in Brooklyn. How this exhibition went from idea to fruition is chronicled in Collaborations.

B&H Event Space and Hahnemühle hosted a two-part Concept Aware series. A highlight was our live portfolio review session - we hope to revisit this engaging format. If you missed either session they are available here, About/In the Media

Pasadena Arts Forum afforded me the fun of riffing on the panel titled, Exploring What’s Possible, with amazing colleagues including: Lonnie K. Graham, Hamidah Glasgow and Odette England and moderated by Debe Arlook. This recording is also on my website.

One of my missions is to amplify contemporary (and historical) contributions of women photographers. Two conferences I attended virtually moved this agenda forward; Paris Photo and the inaugural Congress of the Women Photographers International Archive (WOPHA) titled; Women, Photography and Feminisms. Read more details on my blog posts on Know About.

My heartfelt gratitude to those who responded to my Cyber Sale as we raised $500 towards the Massachusetts General Hospital Pancreatic Cancer Research Group. This effort joins my Cambridge community as we pay tribute in memory of Madhvi Patil, my beloved friend and a gifted and creative teacher.

Looking to the future we have some surprises in store. Our next season of PBBG will begin in January - stay tuned!

Deb, Matilda and I had a wonderful team holiday celebration - we were too busy laughing and toasting to take a photo! We are off on a holiday hiatus to refuel, restore, gather, ponder and imagine.

While times remain challenging in several ways, I lean into the promise of creativity, innovation and community to see us through, and forward.
