Content-Filled Conversations & Celebrations at Paris Photo
Friday at Paris Photo was all about content-filled conversation & celebration - the Elles x Paris Photo platforms amplifying women photographers and the @aperturefnd / @parisphotofair Book Awards.
A deep day of learning from masterminds - acknowledging the commitment, passion and persistence to make this magic happen. It’s becoming clear the bottom line is love - for the connective power of art and the intrepid folks who work to open our eyes to all that is!
I love gathering content for Paris Photo In Your Pocket with interviews with @stephendaitergallery
@barbara.peacock_abedroom @kehrerverlag @dotfiftyone.gallery with the gracious Issac discussing their solo exhibition of @anasamoylova.
Having a blast with @marilyn.nance and acknowledging history and the import of her shortlisted (2022) book Last Day In Lagos (so glad to have witnessed the historical moment of Marilyn in the stunning joy of @carlajwms winning the conveted Photobook of the Year award) - proof of the love that fuels all the hard work behind each of these academic, artists and authors in that one photo!!!
Covering this years winners of the Paris Photo Aperture Book Awards is always a blast! Fabulous choices reflecting truth.
Listening to the powerful women photographers as hosted by Elles x Paris Photo - also spreading truth and opening eyes.
And capping with a stellar conversation with Dr Deborah Willis @debwillisphoto and Dr. Mark Sealy @autographabp
I feel blessed to be in the splash zone - eyes, head and heart full! And I am about to do it all again on Saturday.
A bientot!
