The Salty Quill Writing Retreat For Women

Off the coast of Maine, on a private island called McGee, the Salty Quill Writers Retreat provides women writers exactly what they need -- free time to write without distraction or interruption, the opportunity to share work and discuss craft in a spectacular, secluded setting, author-led workshops, and three meals a day prepared by their talented chef. STONELEAF RETREAT is an artist residency and creative space for womxn and families, set in the Hudson Valley. BODY FREEDOM FOR EVERY(BODY)

BODY FREEDOM FOR EVERY(BODY) is an ongoing celebration of intersecting issues pertaining to bodily autonomy, such as reproductive justice, queer liberation, and trans joy. The now multi-part endeavor (the traveling exhibition on wheels, the accessible digital database, and the latest static exhibition) addresses the importance of agency, autonomy, and choice when it comes to healthcare and individual identity. Socially Engaged Photography Network

Working with organizations, photographers, community groups, academics and curators from across the country, Open Eye Gallery has been building a network to discuss and accelerate the practice of socially engaged photography. In the spirit of social practice, the network is shaped collaboratively by its users and has been running as a distributed network since October 2019. The network now has over 500 members and 25 organizational partners supporting its development and delivery. Explore here!

Photoworks

Photoworks champions photography for everyone. They are an international platform, global in reach, and have provided opportunities for artists and audiences since 1995. They do not have a physical venue, but their online channels are always open. Their program brings new experiences to audiences and opens up new ways to encounter photography. Photoworks is a registered charity and the only organization with a national remit for photography in England. Learn more here!
