SPE Combined-Caucus Exhibit, Edifice

For the 5th International Combined Caucus Exhibition of the 2017 SPE I contextualized the photos selected by curator Renee Cox and wrote the catalogue forward, Edifice. Here I find a uniting theme from a compilation of individual images. The idea of a structure meant to hold or contain became the unifying context in this exploration of identity.
