Ruddy Roye

Ruddy Roye and I met during Photoville and his exhibition, #whenlivingisaprotest, his visualisation of the Black Lives Matter movement. I introduced Ruddy and his work to Chelsea gallery owner, Steven Kasher. I selected images in collaboration with the gallery for Ruddy’s solo exhibit, When Living Is A Protest, in Fall, 2016. We decided on output specifics including mounting options and print sizes. Ruddy was chosen as Time Magazine Instagram Photographer of the Year, 2016.
